Esso pipeline project will not be routed through our area.

There had been a threat of the replacement aviation fuel pipeline being routed through our area , including Goose Rye Road , Burdenshot Hill field and on through Pyle Hill .

However, the chosen route now runs well to the north of us, and there will be no impact on Mayford.

We will of course monitor this very carefully and keep you updated if anything changes that might affect the village.
